Interior Designer + Owner
Kate is the Owner and Principle Designer of Studio 7 Creative. Today, Kate and her team provide a thoughtful full-service design experience for discerning clientele.
Kate fell in love with home style at a young age and was strongly influenced by her mother who was known as a “Weekend Designer”. Kate tagged along to help her mother design for friends and scour unique shops and antique markets. They moved often growing up, but each move was treated as a fresh opportunity to design and create a new space.
A design career was a natural fit for Kate. She graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Interior Design and began working for a high-end residential design firm. After relocating to Colorado, she had the pleasure of designing commercial environments at OZ Architecture in Denver. Projects included the Denver Children's Museum Remodel, The Rose Andom Center, Victory Ranch in Utah, and 250 Columbine, a luxury project in the heart of Cherry Creek.
After the birth of her first child, Kate was ready to launch her own business, Studio 7 Creative, with the goal of working with clients that truly love design and are ready to create a unique home of their own. Thanks to Kate’s fresh, relaxed style, Studio 7 Creative quickly attracted a wait list of clients anxious to improve their homes.
